The Road Design System (RDS) provides a smooth design that corrects existing bumps and dips, corrects surface shape(cross slope), significantly cuts design time, minimizes material required for a project, can eliminate survey, and drastically lowers costs.
The system can utilize data that is collected either with the Survey Profiler or with survey. The data is analyzed and design criteria are established. Then, the design is smoothed graphically, automatically placed into tabular format, with the completed design thicknesses transferred to the Grade Control System, ready to pave or mill.
